I'm Edie Sedgwick, the girl of the year, socialite, and Andy's going to make me famous.
((Hi there, darlings! This is a roleplay blog, run by a girl with a passion for the 60's art scene. Edie is a doll, and if you don't know anything about her, learn her story. It's so beautifully tragic.))

Oh, well, thank you again! I think… I think you’d like him. He likes interesting people. People with stories… Maybe he’ll even photograph you. -She grins, and for a moment, Theta can see a flash of sadness in her eyes- Maybe you’ll even meet Bobby, then. But don’t mind him, he’s just a grump.

-Edie giggles then, her eyes creasing-

[His whole face turns bright red] M—Me? Ohgoodness I doubt I’d be…oh gosh no. I’m not that attractive! Not like…not like you M’lady…is something the matter?

And Bobby? Who’s…Bobby?

-She giggles and shoves his shoulder very gently with long, slender fingers-

Oh, shush! Doll, he’d love you. And thanks again… What was your name again? Theta?

Bobby? My Bobby Dylan! Please tell me you know who he is. If you don’t then… Doll, you’ve been living under a rock.

It’s high fashion, doll. -She laughs softly- And Andy, I model for him now. He wants me to star in his films. He says he’ll make me famous.

Ah, well, I am hoping that works out for you. Seems it will seeings as how you’ve already gotten into a mag as well known as that.

Well, that was my family connections that got me that far. -She grins at him- But Andy, he’s different. You might’ve heard of him? Andy Warhol.

…Yes, but…He’s dead. Unless the bloke is just fortunately or unfortunately named.

Andy? Dead? Hardly! I was just out dancing with him last night.

You are talking Warhol as in the artist? The one with the Campbell soup cans and things?

Yes, Warhol! The artist. He’s putting me in his films. He’s calling my first one Poor Little Rich Girl. -She grins- Why are you so shocked? It’s the 60’s, doll!

Oh, good. I’d hate to be one of the bad ones. [mostly, Watson was making light of the whole thing. Not very serious at all. He offered a warm smile back] Edie, was it? Short for anything?

Edith, actually. But please, call me Edie. -She has a nature about her; Charming, perhaps. The socialite carried herself with poise and grace- Edie Sedgwick. I was in Vogue, I was girl of the year.

Edie it is. [nodded accommodatingly. Having been more curious than anything.] Vogue? You’ll have to forgive me. I don’t read too many magazines.

-She scrunches up her nose a bit, smiling. Edie adored compliments… Even if sometimes she didn’t believe them-

Oh, thank you! Important? I’m not really sure… I think it’s a nice thought, though. My parents… They hate me starring in his films. They think I’m completely beyond belief. -Edie laughs softly, and when she does, her large, dangling earrings sway and knock against her neck- It’s almost funny. You’ve never heard of Andy? Oh… Theta, was it? Doll, you’ve got to meet him!

I haven’t met…[How was he supposed to put this. Not human. He was pretending to be human. He really needed to come up with a better story than Greek hippies. That wasn’t going to work forever. And he didn’t want to take the Doctor’s human name. “John Smith” just seemed so…ordinary and boring.] I haven’t met a lot of…famous type people. Or people making famous people. I’d love to meet him.

And I bet you’re brilliant no matter what your parents say!

Well hi there, doll. I’m Edie.

Ah, hello!

I’m Doctor Watson. Pleased to me.

Doctor? What are you a Doctor of? I know quite a few Doctors… Not all of them are the good kind, though.

Retired army physician. I like to think I’m a good kind of doctor, myself. But that may be a bit of a biased opinion.

Well, you seem like a good doctor. -tilts her head a bit, smiling charmingly- It’s great to meet you, doll.

Oh, good. I’d hate to be one of the bad ones. [mostly, Watson was making light of the whole thing. Not very serious at all. He offered a warm smile back] Edie, was it? Short for anything?

Andy? Andy Warhol? You’ve never heard of him, doll? And a model? Well, I look pretty for the camera, while people take photographs of me. I also star in his films, and he says he’ll make me famous from them. -She smiles with charm, much like the way she carries herself. In fact, almost everything about her is all poise, undeniable charm and grace.-

[He shakes his head softly]

I’m sorry I’ve never heard of the man, I don’t think…

Famous…[He tilts his head. She was human. And an odd one at that.] You really are lovely M’lady. Absolutely beautiful. Will…is being famous important?
